Aurion is the steadfast protector of the Daytime Bells, a leonine warrior whose presence anchors the Fairy Academy during the brightest hours of the forest. This fantasy guardian miniature stands at 75mm and is produced in high quality cast and 3D printed resin, preserving every strand of his mane, each engraved symbol on his armour and the full strength of his powerful anatomy. Designed for display painters, Aurion blends the majestic authority of a lion with the ceremonial refinement expected of a guardian within Luca Marchetti’s Wood Whisperers universe.
His crossed-arm pose expresses calm vigilance rather than aggression. Broad chest, strong paws and defined musculature provide smooth volumes suited for gradients, textural studies and dramatic lighting. These leonine attributes make Aurion a natural counterpoint to the delicate Daytime students, adding visual weight and narrative contrast when displayed together.
Despite his primal strength, Aurion is firmly tied to the Academy’s traditions. His ornate garments, jewellery and carved plates signal discipline, ritual and harmony with the forest. Painters can explore this duality, using him either as a solitary sentinel or as part of a larger scene with Azalea, Daisy, Nerine or Verbene. His scenic base, shaped like a carved platform rising from moss-covered stone, reinforces his role as a guardian of sacred ground while allowing space for custom vegetation or diorama extensions.
Aurion embodies Luca Marchetti’s long-term vision for the Fairy Academy: a guardian shaped by duty, wisdom and honour. This fantasy guardian miniature offers painters a character that merges leonine nobility with seasoned restraint, making him a commanding centrepiece for any display project. Aurion stands ready to enrich your collection with depth, presence and a strong narrative anchor within the Wood Whisperers world. He fits seamlessly beside the Daytime Bells and expands any painter’s storytelling possibilities in every display you create.
