💡 Why Choose Velvet Inks Hot and Cold

These inks are formulated to perform as both standalone inks and blending companions for other acrylic paints. Their satin finish provides superior flow and smoother transitions while maintaining strong chromatic intensity.

By adjusting dilution, you can use them to saturate, darken, filter, contrast or soften tones, making them an indispensable tool for miniature painters and scale artists.

🖌️ Techniques & Applications

• Mixing & Blending: Mix with other acrylics for richer colors that are easier to apply and smoother to blend.
• Wash: Dilute heavily, apply over surfaces and guide the pigment as it settles naturally.
• Filter & Slapchop: Apply transparent veils of color over pre-shaded or neutral areas for tone shifts.
• Glaze: Use very thin layers to achieve subtle chromatic modulation and refined highlights.
• Shade & Cover: Apply pure for high coverage with maintained transparency, perfect for lining or intense accents.
• Airbrush: Thin with water or acrylic thinner to create filters, gradients and shadow effects with precision.

Flexible, vibrant and responsive, Velvet Inks Hot and Cold redefine what acrylic inks can do, offering depth, control and creativity in every drop.
